I seek my inspiration from the simple and elegant beauty of nature.  As a Virgina native, I grew up spending my summers on the beach in Sandbridge and my fall and winter holidays in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  These surroundings serve as the foundation for my love of nature and my desire to capture its beauty.  While studying Architecture and Design at the University of Virginia, I learned the importance of taking time to refine all the details and while living in Australia I began to have my eyes and heart opened to a freshened visual palate. Currently, I live in the New River Valley with my husband.

Primarily, I am a lifestyle photographer who photographs my subjects using natural light.  I prefer for sessions to take place in your home or at a park or playground you and your family are familiar with.  I try to stay away from poses and awkward, forced smiles as my desire is to capture the essence of your special life moments, just as they are.  The more comfortable and at ease you are, the more this will translate to your photos and the more likely you are to absolutely love them!  Please feel free to contact me about booking a session or with any questions you have.
